Don’t Starve: Newhome just got a new story trailer. The game is a new mobile entry in Klei Entertainment’s Don’t Starve series. Developed by Shengqu Games, it aims to expand upon the core mechanics of the original. These include exploration, crafting, and of course survival. Additionally, Don’t Starve: Newhome will have ongoing support while adding new modes and more. The new story trailer is the second one, while the original cinematic trailer dropped last year. The game will be available on both Android and iOS when it launches.

Among the new features will be a story mode, faster play sessions, co-operative multiplayer modes, and personalized progression systems. The game is being designed with a mobile audience in mind. The developers also wish to stay true to the core parts of the original experience from exploration and crafting to survival.

Players will bump into new creatures as they explore, and build persistent homes. As with previous games, survival will be a key component of the experience of Don’t Starve: Newhome. Joining forces with friends may help you take on the game’s unforgiving world and survive a bit longer. Either way, it’s only a matter of time until death finds you!

The new Don’t Starve: Newhome story trailer is actually one of two new trailers they put out in the last two days. The previous one is the new Webber “Along Came a Spider” trailer for Don’t Starve Together:

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
