Welcome to the first Nintendo Download of April 2021! Our trio of featured titles in this Nintendo Download are largely space themed, with a dash of dodge ball. Among Us just got a free new DLC as well.

Featured Games

Our first featured title today, Breathedge ($19.99 | $24.99), is launching on April 6th. You’re just a man taking your Grandpa’s ashes to his galactic funeral. Suddenly everything gets crazy when the massive space hearse crashes, filling the area with debris including coffins and bodies! You soon find yourself in the midst of a universal conspiracy. Survive by crafting tools and piloting vehicles. Players can also take control of space stations. Unfortunately, space is quite dangerous, with so many ways to die. You could suffocate, freeze, burn, be done in by blunt trauma, be electrocuted, and who knows what else. Can you evade death and uncover the universal truth?

Star Wars Republic Commando ($14.99) is also coming to the Nintendo Switch on April 6th. The Delta Squad is back as the Clone Wars plunge the galaxy into chaos! You and your squad of Republic Commandos must infiltrate and destroy the enemy. Can you lead your squad to victory in the battles ahead?

Coming out on May 21st is Knockout City, where you’ll team up and battle rival crews in crazy dodge ball battles. You can customize your character, and enjoy numerous crazy game modes, locales, and ball types. Players can also “ball up” and roll into one of their team mate’s hands to become a weapon or kick your opponents’ butts with trick shots.

DLC

Popular online party game, Among Us, has just gotten a new free update. Take on new tasks in the latest and largest map, The Airship. Pick your starting room, and team up with 4-10 players to get your spaceship ready to depart. Keep your eyes peeled for the impostors in your Crew, though!

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
