Okay so technically this Nintendo Download came out yesterday, but since I had no idea, I’m covering it on Turkey Day. Cause generally, the Nintendo Download always hits on Thursday, but I can understand why they’d make an exception today. But since I’m good to my word, here’s your special Thanksgiving edition of the Nintendo Download! Feast on some games before you tear into that turkey!

Nintendo Download | EarthNight

This Nintendo Download is pretty short on new releases, but there is one cool featured title I have some experience with. It’s called EarthNight, and it’s a beautiful game all about running and jumping on the backs of giant dragons! It’s post apocalyptic, and has a bit of rogue DNA thrown in for good measure. I was originally drawn to EarthNight cause of the lush visual style, but I think it has the chops to draw in other gamers as well. If that sounds interesting, you’ll be able to pick it up in just a few short days. But if you’re not convinced, stay tuned for oprainfall’s upcoming review of EarthNight.

It wouldn’t be a Nintendo Download without some sales, so let’s go and see what the Game Guide has to offer. There’s actually a lot of great deals, cause of the Cyber Deals and Black Friday discounts. So I’m gonna try and wrap all those into the main write up as a cohesive discussion. BANDAI NAMCO and Devolver Digital have some sales. There’s also SEGA and ATLUS. And I’d be remiss not to mention some Capcom sales. Below I’ll list what I feel are the best games to check out from each.

Nintendo Download | Where the Water Tastes Like Wine

First off, for BANDAI NAMCO, I’d check out the following games – Katamari Damacy REROLL, Little Nightmares: Complete Edition, Namco Museum, RAD and Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun! For Devolver, check out Ape Out, Broforce, Gato Roboto, Hotline Miami Collection, Mother Russia Bleeds, My Friend Pedro and NOT A HERO: SUPER SNAZZY EDITION. For SEGA and ATLUS, there’s a ton of SEGA AGES titles discounted, including the following – Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Columns II, Lightening Force: Quest for the Darkstar, Sonic the Hedgehog and Wonder Boy. They also have the following worth a look – Citizens of Space, Rock of Ages 2, Shining Resonance Refrain, Sonic Mania and Valkyria Chronicles 4. And for Capcom, there’s some great bargains including these – Mega Man 11, both Mega Man X Legacy Collections, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, all the Resident Evil ports and the 3DS Monster Hunter games.
