God Eater fans rejoice, as Ufotable will indeed be releasing the remaining episodes for the TV anime series. This announcement comes after it was learned that the God Eater anime series would be ending its original broadcast run after episode 9. However after the end of episode 9 on Sunday, a special announcement was revealed to the fans. The TV anime would indeed be continuing, and it would release the remaining episodes, episodes 10-13, in the Winter.

With the announcement they also released the episode cards for the remaining episodes. These cards stated the episode number, title of the episode, and also listed a word associated with the respective episode.

  • Episode 10 “Sange” (A Glorious End)
  • Episode 11 “Meteor Light”
  • Episode 12 “Dai-Ichi Butai” (First Unit)
  • Episode 13 “Renge” (Lotus Flower)

The words associated with each episode (in order) are:

God Eater - Remaining Episodes

The original broadcast run was riddled with delays, as 4 extra recap episodes took the place of episodes originally scheduled to be broadcast. More information will be released on the anime’s official website and Twitter account as time goes on. If you are interested please check out he official website here and the Twitter account here.

Daisuki streamed the anime series as it was being broadcast and Crunchyroll began streaming the series on August 11.

So are you guys excited about this news? It’s a shame they couldn’t finish the anime with their original broadcast time, but at least the series will get completed in the near future.
