Xbox One: Now with More Savings

Microsoft has announced good news for Xbox One owners. There are two new energy saving settings for the console. The first option is Instant On. Instant On not only saves energy, but it also makes game updates and apps purchases download faster. It also improves the console’s start-up time. The other option is Energy Saving mode. Energy Saving will cut down the console’s energy use when the console is not being used, but updates will not be downloaded as efficiently.

Both options are supposed to cut down energy usage significantly. Microsoft is endorsing the Instant On option as the preferred setting for Xbox One consoles, but they are letting consumers decide which option suits their needs.
