PSN Weekly

Let’s start this issue of PSN Weekly with a free game! The next game added to our instant game collection is for the PS3, Galaga Legions DX. I have been enjoying some old school-style games lately, so I was excited to hear about this game being available. It puts a new twist on an old classic with new graphics and weapon power ups.  You can blast your way through unique levels and defend the galaxy against catastrophe!

There are three PS3 games available today on PSN. These include Street Fighter X Tekken for $29.99, and NHL 14  for $59.99. Puppeteer is the other game available today, and it is $39.99. We have covered Puppeteer extensively, so I won’t rehash the game details here. Check out the links instead, and, if you do purchase it, be sure to let me know if you enjoyed it or not.

Dragon Fantasy Book II is available for $14.99. PS Plus members can enjoy a discounted price of $11.99. The game is available for the PS3 and Vita, and does have a cross-save feature. This is a direct sequel to Dragon Fantasy Book I, and follows Ogden and his companions as they set out on their quest. The game features  an all-new battle system that is reminiscent of Chrono Trigger, 16-bit graphics and a compelling sound track. Steve Baltimore is currently playing the game for review purposes, so we can all look forward to that in the near future.
