Earlier today, Idea Factory International released the full opening movie trailer for 9 R.I.P. sequel. This sequel to the original 9 R.I.P. otome game is scheduled to release for Nintendo Switch sometime later this year, 2026. A more exact release date hasn’t yet been announced. As well as putting out the full opening movie, IFI has also announced that the game’s physical Standard Edition copies will come with a special trading card pack included. This trading card pack will feature the 9 different love interests, with 8 printed in a regular finish and 1 random card will be holographic. This card pack will come with all Standard Editions sold at any retailer, not just IFI’s Online Store.

The game will also be getting a Limited Edition release, but currently no details on what’s included with the LE have been announced. However, you can still wishlist both the Standard Edition and the Limited Edition in IFI’s Online Store.
