It’s seemingly that time of the month, a new Shiravune announcement featuring NYO-NIN-JIMA! It’s no secret that Shiravune has been off to a hot start with announcements and releases so far this year, but this is a particularly great addition. From Paco Paco Soft, who previously worked on a lot of really beautiful gyaru-themed visual novels, comes a romance-adventure story that’s sure to tug at heart strings. Not to mention some of the best character design and art combinations in a while! NYO-NIN-JIMA previously released in Japan back in April 2022, so it’s nice to see a recent release already getting a localization. Per Shiravune, the game will be available on both Steam and Johren! So what’s NYO-NIN-JIMA about?
The day after being fired from the horrible company he had been working at for many years, Shoichi Harama arrives on a remote southern island located hundreds of kilometers from the city.
Though he has no regrets about losing his job, he was still worried about his future. That is, until “Sensei,” the old man responsible for him being fired in the first place, gives him an offer―to help him manage an island.
All three members of the Kowakame family; the mother, Nanami; her older daughter, Maki; and her younger daughter, Nono, more than welcome Shoichi as the island’s manager. He feels his battered mind and body starting to heal as their generous hospitality washes away the stresses of society…
