Indie game studio Robotality and publisher Chucklefish have announced that PATHWAY: Adventurers Wanted has launched on the Epic Games store, and you can get it for free! What’s the catch? You just have to buy it before June 25th, and it is yours to keep forever. After that day, it returns to its normal price of $15.99, and will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games store.  PATHWAY is a turn-based strategy adventure, and the Adventurers Wanted update remasters it. The game first launched in 2019, after which the developers listened to their community. The end result is that the update adds new AI, tactics, abilities, combat arenas, special narrative events, story and balancing, as well as a new loot system. Here is the latest trailer:

PATHWAY: Adventurers Wanted takes place in 1936, as Nazi influence covers areas of Europe and the Middle East. Rumors fly about secret excavations, mysterious artifacts, and strange rituals. Players must lead a team of brave adventurers in Northern Africa. There they will unearth ancient relics and hidden treasures in the deserts, hopefully before they fall into the wrong hands! It is a fast-paced tactics game where players can run for cover, flank enemies, and use their team’s special abilities to win the day. For new players, they have a special “What is PATHWAY” trailer, which you can watch right here:

PATHWAY: Adventurers Wanted has five campaigns with varying difficulty, where each attempt spawns a new web of narrative surprises for players. You’ll also have to make some tough choices, like search the well or save the villagers? What will you do?

There are 16 unlockable characters, who each have their own skills and quirks that affect both combat and story encounters. You’ll need to make the most of your team’s abilities and equipment to win in the turn-based squad battles. You can also trade in valuable loot to upgrade your arsenal with rare weapons and armor.

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
