Aniplex Online Fest Announced for July 4-5, Sally Amaki to Host

Aniplex has announced Aniplex Online Fest, a two-day online event which will featuring content for Aniplex-licensed anime and games. The event will be available to stream for free on YouTube in English and on Bilibili in Chinese. Sally Amaki, an American-born Japanese voice actress known for voicing Sakura Fujima in 22/7 and Ashley Taylor in Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, will host the English version of the event.

The online event is described as follows:

The festival will feature a diverse array of online content including talk shows with the staff and cast from popular anime, special appearances and past live shows from music artists, and behind-the-scenes stories from the anime industry!

Sally Amaki had the following to say about hosting the event:

Either someone has too much faith in me or someone dislikes me so much they want to watch me fail miserably.
