Koei Tecmo America has just dropped a new combat highlight trailer for Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy. It shows off some of the game’s battle features in its real-time tactics battles. Players will be able to control as many as four party members at once, and switch them out when needed. Continuous attacks can be executed through coordination with the other members of your party, and players can take down foes for good by utilizing the “Fatal Drive” special technique. Party skills can be activated based on your action order, and you can now use multiple items in succession. Here is the new combat trailer, showing off these features in action:

Ryza has grown much since her last adventure, with a brand new one about to unfold. This time around, players will experience improved gathering, synthesis, and battle systems. It has been three years since the events of Ryza’s secret Kurken Island adventure. She is the only member of her group who remains on the island. Things get interesting when a mysterious letter arrives from a friend. Now inspired to leave the island, she heads to the royal capital, Ashra-am Baird. What she doesn’t yet know, is that this will spark a brand new adventure seeking answers to the mysteries of the ruins scattered around the capital. Along the way, she’ll meet some charming new characters for the first time, as they work to unravel the mystery of the “Lost Legends”.

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy is set to launch on January 26th, 2021 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
