Sony’s Conference during E3 happened earlier today, and while it wasn’t part of the showcase, Spyro Reignited Trilogy was shown off separately with some gameplay and commentary from the developers during PlayStation Live. The demo shows off only the original game, Spyro the Dragon, with the levels Toasty and Sunny Flight in the new engine. Thus far, the reimagined version of Spyro the Dragon remains identical to the original PS1 game with mechanics like rolling. The game looks absolutely beautiful so far as well and has many little touches like torched grass and the soundtrack remains as vibrant and wonderful as well with Stewart Copeland’s return. It’s unknown if we’ll see Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon in the Reignited Trilogy style during E3.
