Warriors All-Stars

Today’s update on Warriors All-Stars is all about characters and building them up as a team. First of all, Koei Tecmo released a brand new trailer detailing the game’s final clan, the Shiki Clan.

The group is composed of characters from various franchises, such as:

  • Ryu Hayabusa and Ayane from Ninja Gaiden
  • Yukimura Sanada, Mitsunari Ishida, and Naotora Ii from Samurai Warriors
  • Hajime Arima and Darius from Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time
  • William from Nioh
  • Shiki, son of the monarch from Warriors All-Stars

Along with these new characters, there are various ways to interact with the whole cast. At the hub world called the Sanctuary, players are allowed to work on clan member relationships and build strength.

Going to the Tavern and Inn lets characters mingle and take a relaxing bath in the Hot Springs. Building relationships with the characters can lead to interesting cutscenes.

At the Refinery, players can create, sell, and upgrade Hero Cards, cards that provide new abilities and boost already equipped skills. To build higher stats, players can take part in the Practice Arena and convert gold they’ve earned into experience points. Once all is said and one, you can head to the Headquarters to accept missions.

Warriors All-Stars hacks and slashes its way to PlayStation 4 and Steam on August 29th.
