Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters | featured

The most recent issue of Famitsu reveals that Arc System Works will be working on an updated version of Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters. This RPG adventure visual novel was originally released in Spring 2014 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

The new version will be titled Mato Kurenai Yuugekitai: Daybreak Special Gigs and will feature a large amount of new elements fixing the battle system and more story. Daybreak Special Gigs will also be making it’s way on to the PlayStation 4. We played Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters and liked it, but felt it’s shortcomings came with the lack of explanation of the games mechanics. So maybe this updated version is for the best.

Mato Kurenai Yuugekitai: Daybreak Special Gigs is set for release in Japan in November.
