Atelier Escha & Logy

Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky Logo

It seems Wilbell won’t be the only Atelier Ayesha character joining the cast of the latest entry of the Atelier series, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky.

Revealed in Dengeki PlaySation, Marion and her trusty companion Linca will be returning as playable characters. As the new game takes place four years after Ayesha, like Wilbell, they too are now four years older. Though you could have fooled me, given how Gust hardly shows aging with their characters. Of course they don’t simply come back, but they return with a new set of clothes. Though the changes are minor, I have to say I do think they’re as good or even better than their previous looks.

Atelier Escha & Logy - Marion Atelier Escha & Logy - Linca

After the end of a mission in a remote area and her achievements with her investigation were recognized, Marion was sent to another remote area just as she was about to return to The Center. She has now become the leader of the Kolseit subdivision’s development team. Linca is a specialist in combat who supports Marion with her first-class sword skills. Her personality can be easy to misunderstand, which can cause troubles.

Atelier Escha & Logy is a PlayStation 3 exclusive and is slated for release in Japan on June 27th of this year. First print copies will include a code for Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy. With the announcement of Tecmo Koei’s E3 line-up including Atelier Meruru Plus, I hope an announcement for the localization of Atelier Escha & Logy won’t be too far behind. Though, I do have confidence in this regard. Gust has also released yet another new video, this time demonstrating the ‘Field Meter’ which appears at the top left corner. Obtaining 100% in that area gives you a nice reward. Check out the video below.
