Killer Is Dead | White blood

As the release date for Killer Is Dead draws nearer each day, a megaton of new images for the upcoming Suda51 game have been revealed. The action looks intense and visceral, and the images show no signs of respite from flaunting its stylish wackiness. Plenty of new enemies and and bosses are shown in these images.

Here are the images below:

From these 46 new images, we mostly see screenshots of Mondo Zappa in a samurai-themed stage squaring off against a mysterious character (presumably a boss character). This character controls an army of animated kendo dummies and rides a giant tiger. Mondo also comes across a friendly-looking creature whose purpose in the stage (or perhaps the entire game) is currently unknown.

The two kinds of kendo dummies Mondo will face wield either a single katana or two saw-like blades. They are both armored like the ones used for practicing swordplay, but it is unknown if these enemies will have strong defense. The samurai character himself looks like a formidable opponent, with his power to conjure a tiger out of his own body.

Killer Is Dead will be released in Europe and North America this summer on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game will arrive in August for European territories, while a specific North American release date has yet to be announced.
