I'd give them money

Well this is exciting. Platinum Games, the makers of the Wii U exclusive Bayonetta 2, wants to use Kickstarter to release a game on Steam.  Atsushi Inaba, executive director for Platinum Games, had this to say:

If you think about the console market in Japan, and compare it to the world, it’s not that big…so I view the PC as an area with huge potential. It would be great if we could do a Kickstarter and gather enough money for a game to be released on Steam.

Considering what they’ve already made with the constraints of publishers, imagine what they could make if they were as successful as others. Again, how exciting.
