Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate First Wii U Screenshots

The news was announced earlier this week, that the game would be supporting 1080p HD Resolution, plus 5.1 LPCM Surround Sound. To coincide with this news, Capcom has released screenshots of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on the game’s official website (http://www NULL.capcom NULL.co NULL.jp/monsterhunter/3G/HD/).   I actually enjoy the heavy feel of the combat. It makes me feel like every swing I make counts, and that any wrong move can be fatal. Besides, not being able to throw giant weapons around like feathers is more realistic and intense!

  It’s not just the ginormous, honking swords that move slowly, I can forgive those for being slow. Heck, I was playing with the gimpy toothpick sword with an inch of actual blade and he still swung it around like it was a million pounds.

I love monster hunter. Only issue I had with tri though was how slowly my guy puts his weapon away; and since I move a snails pace while the weapon I’d like him to put the weapon away a bit faster. I don’t mind the slow pace of eating meat though since I’ll just leave the area to do that but I’d really like to have a slightly faster animation for putting the weapon away.

What I like is that the viewpoint comes in closer at certain moments. From what I remember about the Wii version, the camera stayed back pretty far in the village.

CRAP A GOLD RATHIAN
I hope Wii data can be transferred across to Wii U; I only JUST got into Tri and it would be annoying having to start all over again. And that guy from France I was hunting with last week (HR 224) probably wouldn’t be happy either, haha.
