Sony Interactive Entertainment have announced on their blog that they will be livestreaming their PlayStation Meeting 2016 press event, therefore allowing members of the public to watch the conference live from their homes. Additionally, Sony plan to follow the event with a special episode of PlayStation LiveCast.

There are rumors that Sony will announce the PS Neo and the leaked PS4 Slim at this press event.

You can watch the conference live from here tomorrow at 12PM Pacific/3PM Eastern in the US, and in Europe 8PM GMT and 9PM CET.

  • Mr0303

I’ll definitely watch this. It’s not everyday one gets to witness the end of console gaming.

    • Lord Ackercocke

Haha is it goin to be that bad?

    • Mr0303

I don’t know. I’m a bit of a pessimist and I don’t like the trend that the Neo is setting – it’s removing one of the major advantages of console gaming – uniform hardware. These mid generational upgrades make early adoptions of consoles an unwise decision and may reflect badly on the market as a whole in the future.

    • Lord Ackercocke

Well i’m not a fan of this new PC like mentality Sony and Microsoft are trying to push but i’ll take a wait and see stance. I’m not that fussed. The only thing i’m stoked for is the NX. Bring it home, Nintendo.

    • Mr0303

I do hope that the NX is successful, but Nintendo have issues of their own like exotic hardware/gimmicks and region lock. Kudos to them for keeping a proper console cycle, but they really need to learn from the mistakes they made with the Wii U, which died an early death.

    • Lord Ackercocke

Well they’very been fuckin up since after the Super Nes. They can’t afford to fuck up anymore. They need to stop with the censorship bullshit, region locked consoles and fear of the Internet mentality. They are the only ones that can save us from the other two’s madness.

    • Mr0303

Quite a few statements from executives make it look like Nintendo doesn’t want to compete with Sony and MS for the core gamer, but I generally agree – more competition is always good for the consumer.

I personally hope that Sega will make a comeback into the hardware business with the Dreamcast 2.

    • Lord Ackercocke

Please don’t mention, Sega. That wound has yet to heal lol.

  • Lord Ackercocke

Damn!!! Goin to have to try and watch this from at work tomorrow.

  • Panpopo

Odd this is in the middle of the day – you would think a show more in the evening would get more eyeballs.

    • Lord Ackercocke

      Agreed.

Just watched the conference and it was okay. The new Playstation Pro, bro is only useful if u have a 4K TV. I think i’ll stick to my regular PS4.
