Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses Concert Coming to San Diego
Elegy of Emptiness for those who cannot go

The San Diego Symphony will perform Pokémon and Legend of Zelda music this coming July. These performances will be held under the banner of Nintendo’s “Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions” (specially marked as part of the San Diego Symphony’s “Summer Pops” line of events) and “Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses” concert series. The Pokémon orchestral performances will take place on July 9th, while the Legend of Zelda orchestral performances will take place on July 11th.

Those of you looking to go to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con may notice that these performances will take place during the weekend of Comic Con. Keep in mind that the Symphonic Evolutions concert takes place at 8 P.M., while the Symphony of the Goddesses concert takes place at 7:30 P.M. (on the Saturday of Comic-Con weekend.) The Summer Pops venue for Symphonic Evolutions is adjacent to the San Diego Comic Con venue, while the Symphony of the Goddesses venue is a little more than about a 20-minute walk from the San Diego Convention Center, where SDCC 2015 will be held.

The program for Symphony of the Goddesses at San Diego has already been decided; you can view it here. Symphonic Evolutions will feature musical arrangements and visuals from all six generations (thus far) of Pokémon games.
