Silver Nornir, developed by Kemco and WorldWideSoftware, made its Android debut back in March and is one of Kemco’s newest additions to their extensive mobile JRPG lineup in English. Now, iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad users can also purchase the game via the Apple App Store. Silver Nornir is now available for iOS at an $8.99 USD price point. To celebrate its release, Kemco has discounted that price to $2.99 USD. The discount also extends to the Android version of the game over at Google Play.

The world of Silver Nornir is in peril—but that’s nothing new, since it’s been destroyed twice before by a creature called Azatoth. Only three beings are left alive to see a new age dawn on the world: the Keeper of Time, the Peacekeeper and the Goddess. It’s in this Third Age that Ein, a prince, lives with his friends Elena and Lynn. But things start to go awry when Elena disappears.

The game’s battle system is turn-based and includes a rating system that takes into account how many turns the battle lasted and how many critical hits were made, among other factors. The higher your rating, the more gold and EXP you’ll walk away with. An S rating awards you with Silver Nornir Points (SNP) that can be used to unlock extra dungeons and purchase rare items. SNP can also be purchased using real-world currency. JRPG fans might also be pleased to note that Silver Nornir includes Japanese in-battle voices, which is a nice touch for a mobile game.
