It’s hard to believe the Squid Sisters were only revealed a month before Splatoon’s launch just over a year ago. The characters are so ingrained in the game’s world, from announcing the map rotations, to taking sides during Splatfest, and singing some of the Splatoon’s best tunes. Their songs are so popular they have had not one, but two live concerts in Japan. The third one will be happening in a couple of months, but this time it’s at the Anime Expo in Europe!

This concert marks the first time the Squid Sisters have performed outside of Japan, and it will be interesting to see the turn out. Perhaps this is indicative of more live concerts worldwide? Whatever the case, it’s amazing to see how far these two have come.
