Square Enix just opened up a new website for the next game in the Final Fantasy XIII series, or “Lightning Saga” as they like to call it. But not before reminding us that Final Fantasy XIII shipped over 9.6 million copies and that Final Fantasy XIII-2 ended with the DLC pack called “Lightning’s Story: Requiem of the Goddess”.

The website explains that “key members” of the original Final Fantasy XIII development team are preparing to reveal the direction of Lightning’s story at the Final Fantasy 25^th Anniversary event in Tokyo on September 1^st. You can see the website for yourself here.
