Konami has revealed the release date for New Little King’s Story, the sequel to the Nintendo Wii exclusive real-time strategy game Little King’s Story, now with the added “New” in the title. It will be available via digital download for the PlayStation Vita next month on October 2nd in North America and Europe.
Okay so the title may not be the most creative, but Little King’s Story was one of the best games of 2009, and a personal favorite game. While the art is a major departure and does do the job of making the game feel “New” even if I personally feel a bit saddened with the removal of the simple, but interesting cutesy style of the original for a more opted traditional anime style, it isn’t a deal breaker by any means. If you want a clever, engaging, charming, and deep strategy game; this is one to look out for.
