Looks like Namco Bandai just threw its hat into the increasingly-crowded social gaming ring. This time, we’re getting a card battle game based on the Tales series. In Tales of Card Evolve, you build a deck of cards containing characters from the various Tales games. You also have access to the stories from several games as well, though Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Graces are the only confirmed stories at this time. The Evolve in the game’s title refers to its “evolve” mechanic where cards become more powerful and gain a different artwork.

It’s available now on GREE as a free-to-pay game where you pay per item. Hopefully, we’ll hear about Namco Bandai’s next social game, Katamari Damacy: Give Us Your Money.
