Guided Fate Paradox

Fans of The Guided Fate Paradox will be excited to hear that a sequel has been announced. The Guided Fate Cross Thesis was announced for the PlayStation 3 in this week’s issue of Famitsu. The game is due out in Japan this July 24th. Here’s the Famitsu reveal, which offers a lots of specific details about the game’s plot and who will be working on it:

Guided Fate Cross Thesis

The Guided Fate Cross Thesis will require the player to make the “ultimate choice”. The game features two heroines (pictured above): Jupiel Chuumi (voiced by Asami Imai) and Aruru Toue (voiced by Yumi Hara). The player must ultimately choose which of these two to save, but whichever one is not chosen will die. And therein lies the ultimate choice.

The game will feature a new gameplay system as well as 3D graphics. Noizi Ito and Airi Hori will be handling the character design, and as with The Guided Fate Paradox, the dungeons will be randomly generated. The standard edition of the game will cost 6,800 yen ($66.54), although a limited edition will be available for 8,800 yen ($86.12)and a downloadable version for 5,714 yen ($55.92).

As to be expected, there’s no word yet on whether or not this game will be seeing a release in the West, although it doesn’t seem too outrageous considering we did get The Guided Fate Paradox. So keep your fingers crossed and stay tuned for more news on The Guided Fate Cross Thesis!
