Nihon Falcom has announced that Kyoto Xanadu will release in Japan on July 16, 2026 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Clouded Leopard Entertainment will release the game in Asian regions outside Japan on the same date for the same platforms. The Asian release supports Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean text languages. Japan and Asia will share the same Steam version.
While there is no Western release date announcement, a Falcom representative informed Gematsu that “a release in North America and Europe is planned, with the release date currently being coordinated with a partner.” In response to a user’s comment, Gematsu Editor-In-Chief, Sal Romano, said the mentioned partner is not NISA or GungHo as they told him they are not involved.
