Before the swap to the new decade, Moonlit Works did something special with Carpe Diem. To clarify, the title’s release goes all the way back to November 30th, 2015. That’s right, four years later the game is being updated. The move comes as a response to previous criticism that dismissed the game for its lackluster art. The developer feels that the change will allow players new and old to better enjoy the bittersweet tale. Furthermore, you can see the change for yourself in the Twitter post below. This writer certainly feels taken aback just looking at it. If you do enjoy Carpe Diem, consider reading its sequel: Carpe Diem: Reboot which released October 2017. It’s not every day you see a developer go back and give some love to the idea that started it all. Please consider following Moonlit Works for more updates regarding future projects and join their Discord for faster access to updates.
A #wipwednesday 5 years in the making! 😭

What’s Carpe Diem about?
What makes someone perfect? Experience this short bittersweet story in the shoes of the main character, Jung, where you will spend your time hanging out with a girl named Ai. Ai is everything Jung wishes for in a woman… except for one very important thing. A thing he prefers to disregard in order for them to have the best time of their lives.
You have a day to enjoy your date and see the world from Jung’s point-of-view.
