Earth Defense Force V2 is Heading to the Vita

D3 Publisher has announced via Famitsu that Earth Defense Force 2 will be releasing on the PlayStation Vita in Japan. Our friends in Europe may be familiar with this game as the publisher has previously released this in that region under the title Global Defense Force.

This version of the game, titled Earth Defense Force V2, will feature the new Air Raider class featured in Earth Defense Force 2025 as well as four player online support. It also appears that every stage will be co-op ready this time around.

EDF fans can look for this one when it releases in Japan in November. Hopefully, D3 will localize this one for the West like they did Earth Defense Force Portable.
