MANGA UP! | titleUpdate: According to Bounding Into Comics, there is various censorship added to some of the manga included in the app.

Update to the Update: MANGA UP! has released an official statement regarding the app’s censorship, which you can read below or by following the Twitter link.

Manga UP! censorship statementFans of Square Enix manga can finally access the publisher’s MANGA UP! platform in English with the release of its global app. It will offer 160 titles, including 100 new English translations, providing readers with the latest installments of ongoing series as soon after their Japanese releases as possible. The app works with iOS and Android on both phones and tablets.

Some of the titles in the global version of MANGA UP! include simultaneous releases of The Case Study of Vanitas, GOBLIN SLAYER, and FINAL FANTASY LOST STRANGER; ongoing series such as Hiromu Arakawa’s latest work Daemons of the Shadow Realm, as well as My Dress-Up Darling and The Apothecary Diaries; and completed series such as Fullmetal Alchemist, Soul Eater, and PandoraHearts.

Chapters are purchased individually using app-specific currency and are often split into multiple parts. They are also not permanent purchases and are time-limited.

The Japanese version of MANGA UP! released in 2017 and has been downloaded 19 million times. You can download the global version of the app on the App Store and Google Play.
