Sometimes you get great news, and today you get what happens to a title like Evenicle 2. The most promising adult RPG will have to look for another storefront as Steam denies their listing. The news isn’t shocking for a decent majority of the community. To clarify, the rollercoaster with Steam’s blessing extends to even the most family friendly stories. Publishers like MangaGamer even skipped Steam for their Skyfish Poco titles because of this. Where Evenicle 2 will go now is a mystery. However, we can at least say the game itself is still coming. This is a kind reminder to buy your visual novels straight from publishers like NekoNyan, MangaGamer and JAST USA. You just never know when they’ll get the cold shoulder from Steam. The first Evenicle is still available for purchase on Steam, and I do recommend it. You should buy it before it goes away.

What’s the story behind Evenicle 2?
In a world were human civilization is constantly threatened by wild monsters, only the rare few individuals wielding forbidden skills dare fight them back. But these brave warriors have to face an even more dangerous menace… because with every Skill they use a terrible curse takes hold of their bodies.

What’s the official statement on the ban?
Today, we would like to announce that we will not be able to release the full English version of Evenicle 2 on the Steam store as we originally planned. Steam decided to reject the listing of Evenicle 2, as we believe it is their right to do so, based on some of its adult content.
We would like to assure all our fans that we are still committed to continue our work on the English version of Evenicle 2 and deliver it to you through different storefronts.
We will take a break from posting new Twitter content until we are ready to announce the storefronts distributing Evenicle 2 and we hope to get back to you soon.
