Record of Grancrest War, a Japanese light novel series and tabletop RPG, is getting a video game published by Bandai Namco. The game is apparently being developed by Aquria. On March 5 at 20:00 JST, Bandai Namco will host a special broadcast where they will make a major game announcement about the game. This will be broadcast live on YouTube.

Featured guest will include:

Kentaro Kumagai (Theo Cornaro voice actor)
Akari Kitou (Siluca Meletes voice actress)
Natsumi Takamori (Priscilla Farnese voice actress)

The show will be presented by 3 different Bandai employees:

Yosuke Futami (Bandai Namco Entertainment)
Hiroyuki Iba (Bandai Namco Entertainment)
Yurika Tsukida (Bandai Namco Entertainment)

Twitter account Renka_schedule, which is run by the administrator of a game schedule wiki, stated that the game would be produced by Yosuke Futami, who produced Sword Art Online games and developed by Aquria. They developed of course developed Sword Art Online Hollow Fragment. The game is fully voiced and should feature about 80 hours of gameplay.Update:tactical RPG Record of Grancrest War will be released for PS4 on June 14 in Japan for 8,200 yen. A 11,100 yen first-print limited edition will also be available. The story mentions a war opposing the Lords, who neglect their duty to protect a continent dominated by chaos and fight each other.The solitary mage Siluca, who despises selfish Lords, and the wandering knight Theo are going to fight to change the world.
