Well folks, I don’t know about you, but I need some distractions these days. And videogames are amazing at distracting me, so let’s see what the Nintendo Download has to share this week. There’s a duo of featured titles with the same name, as well as a new Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp event. Additionally, there’s the usual sales and a few good digital games. Let’s start this Nintendo Download by cracking our whips and heading to a temple.

Nintendo Download | LA-MULANA

I’m a fan of retro aesthetics and Metroidvania, yet somehow I never quite got invested in Nigoro’s LA-MULANA series. Mostly cause I get lost easily, and that game enjoys making things extra challenging. But if you love getting lost in harrowing dungeons full of monsters and secrets, you’ll be happy that in a week LA-MULANA 1 & 2 are both heading to the Nintendo Switch! Explore some ruins as a father and later his daughter, and unearth the secrets necessary to survive. Next up in this Nintendo Download is a new event for fans of Animal Crossing.

Nintendo Download | Rack N Ruin

Nintendo Download | Half Past Fate

Finally, here’s some new digital titles out this week for Nintendo Download. I will point out, it seems that the page layouts for Switch games has been updated, and it’s causing some problems displaying everything properly, including loading some games at all and showing how much they cost. So my list is much shorter as a result. That said, here goes. For retro options, the closest we have is Brotherhood United. For bullet raining mayhem, try Rack N Ruin and Syder Reloaded. Those that enjoy strategy and puzzles might enjoy the following – inbento, Mystic Vale and Roundguard. For a cute VN, try Half Past Fate. For an ambitious hybrid, try Alder’s Blood. And for a cinematic adventure, there’s Stela.

Nintendo Download | Brotherhood United

That was a much shorter Nintendo Download than I was expecting, but hopefully next week will be better. Thanks as usual for staying tuned to oprainfall for your weekly dose of Nintendo games, and be sure to keep checking in for more unique coverage!
