Brain Seal Ltd has announced in a press release that their game, Story of a Gladiator, has just launched on mobile platforms.

Story of a Gladiator is an action game that focuses on arena combat. You play a prisoner of war who has lost his family and has nothing else to live for. You take part in battles and as you win you gain notoriety and fame. As you progress through the game you can use your winnings to upgrade your armor and weapons, as well as gain favor with the gods who may aid you in battle.

You are a common man who has lost everything in the war against the Roman empire. Your family is dead, your friends are dead, your house has been burned down and your land is now under Roman rule. Despite such misfortune you have managed to escape slavery or worse. You spend much of your time in the streets of Rome looking for some sort of meaning in your life and wondering why the gods have spared you.
