Aksys Games has announced that Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] is now available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game features a new character, new moves and nearly a thousand balance changes. It was recently announced as a main stage title for EVO 2020.

Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] is available in both a collector’s edition ($59.99) and standard edition ($39.99). The collector’s edition comes with the following:
- 96 page full-color artbook
- Compilation soundtrack CD
- 3″ Londrekia key chain
- Copy of the full game for PS4 or Switch
For player’s who own Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] on PS4, they will be able to update their copy with just the new character or go for a bundle which includes Londrekia as well as new character colors and much more.
Fighting game commentator Brett Young describes the game as follows:
“Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] is an exciting addition that continues the trend of excellent, thoughtful rebalancing… Londreika fits well with the cast as a new addition to the roster—his toolset seems well-fitted within the game’s mechanics, while having some unique options and looking cool while he’s at it.”
Professional gamer Keenan “Kizzie Kay” Kizzie also spoke about the game and said the following:

In Under Night In-Birth, a mysterious phenomenon, known only as “the Hollow Night,” has enveloped regions of Japan in darkness for several centuries. Every area affected by the Hollow Night is beset by shadowy monsters–known as “Voids”–who feed off of a power called “Existence.” Most humans don’t possess the ability to see or come in contact with Voids, and therefore remain safe. You, however, are not so lucky. As one of a cast of unique characters, players fight their way through the dangers of the Hollow Night and defeat those who would try to get in your way. The game features classic 2D anime fighter controls with a splash of devastating combos and unique fighting styles sure to keep your appetite for battle sated. A fight is more than just pressing buttons!
