Playful Studios and PQube Games are very excited to announce that New Super Lucky’s Tale is out now for digital download on the Nintendo Switch. While the digital download has launched globally, physical copies are not out yet. The press release says they will be arriving in Europe on the 13th of December at participating retailers, which include the following:

Players will run, jump, climb, and burrow to overcome enemies and explore the game’s worlds. They’ll take on a quest to save the Book of Ages from the mysterious Jinx and his nefarious Kitty Litter. Here is the launch trailer:

New Super Lucky’s Tale features a variety of gameplay ranging from 3D open-world hub areas to more story-oriented adventure levels and 2D side scrolling challenges. There are also puzzles, mini-games, boss battles, and lots of memorable characters to meet. Players will find hundreds of collectibles to nab, and a plentiful array of secrets to unlock. There is also a whole wardrobe full of costumes so players can adventure in style!

Players will experience tighter controls, a fully rotatable 3D camera, all new levels, story, cinematics, and character dialog. The press release says nearly every aspect of the game has been upgraded from art and lighting, to sound and music. Here are a few screenshots:

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
