Necronator: Dead Wrong is coming to Steam Early Access in February 2020 by publisher Modern Wolf. The game is being developed by Indonesian developer, Toge Productions. The title was one of Rock Paper Shotgun’s “Bestest Games of EGX 2019”. Necronator: Dead Wrong is a “comedic micro RTS game with a deck-building twist”. Players will amass a collection of undead units to build their army, which will then be tasked with conquering the goody-too-shoes known as the Livmor Alliance.

The Necronator is enlisting the help of some dark generals to help it take out the Livmore Alliance. Players will choose a unique commander as they join the Necronator’s army. Their mission is to ultimately return the Necronator to his former glory. When the game launches in Steam Early Access, there will be one commander and one campaign. It will also have the first two tiers of units. More commanders and units will be coming as the game develops throughout 2020.

The press release says there will be over 20 undead units, each of which will have upgradeable powers, as well as synergies with other units. Players can refine them or swap them out thanks to the deck-building-style meta-game. Each commander will have powerful spells, and their own reasons for joining the Necronator. Their stories will be revealed in different single-player campaigns. These stories are co-written by Chandler Groover (former Fallen London narrative designer). You’ll use your array of undead minions (including Skeleton Archers, Demon Fiends, and Gorkling Bombers) to invade the realms of Livmor and destroy their Clerics, Steel Golems, “and… fluffy rams?!” Players will also encounter relics that twist the powers of their commander in unexpected ways. You can find out more about Necronator: Dead Wrong on the official website and the Steam page.

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
