SNK’s beloved Samurai Shodown games are heading to modern consoles.
Samurai Shodown NEOGEO Collection will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam this fall, according to a panel at PAX East, linked above.
The collection will include Samurai Shodown, Samurai Shodown II, Samurai Shodown III: Blades of Blood, Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa’s Revenge, Samurai Shodown V, and Samurai Showdown V Special. Digital Eclipse will handle online play.
The series debuted in 1993 as one of the first weapons-based fighting games. It is one of SNK’s most recognized and successful series.
