BanG Dream! 2nd Season | Key Visual

The staff for the BanG Dream! franchise have announced that the 2nd season of the anime will begin airing on January 3, 2019. In addition to this news, they revealed that the 2nd season would be streamed in over 60 countries, including those in Asia, Europe and North America. The way in which Blu-rays of the anime would be distributed was also announced. Instead of releasing the anime Blu-rays as standalone, they will be packaged with certain BanG Dream! CD’s starting in April 2019. It is not known which singles will come with the Blu-ray at this time.

The official YouTube channel for the franchise also released commercials featuring 5 of the bands that will be in the anime. The 5 bands are the one’s featured in the mobile game: Poppin’Party, Afterglow, Pastel*Palettes, Roselia, and Hello, Happy World!

BanG Dream! 2nd Season is set to premiere on January 3, 2019 and is produced by Sanzigen. The first season is licensed for release in North America by Sentai Filmworks and streamed by Crunchyroll. Are you ready for the next season of this anime?
