I know, I know, it’s Thanksgiving. But that just means you’re waiting on food in most cases, so there’s no reason you can’t sit and read the Nintendo Download today! This one is stuffed with games, including the usual stuff, some new fancy Cyber Deal sales, new wallpaper and more. So let’s loosen our wallets and get ready for some new gaming.

Nintendo Download | This War of Mine

I admit This War of Mine: Complete Edition isn’t our usual fare at oprainfall, but having played it a few years back at PAX, I can attest it’s not the usual war game. This one is far from a military FPS, it’s more of a point and click adventure. It involves resource management and risky choices, so if you like that sort of thing, you should check it out in a few days. For a game that’s more suited for our audience, you might enjoy Nidhogg 2. This frenetic multiplayer game is out today, and has you painting the walls red with the blood of your foes. But that’s not all today, let’s check out some savings next.

From today until November 28th, Nintendo is offering some Cyber Deal savings. That means up to 50% off games for 3DS and Switch. You can buy them on the Nintendo site or via the eShop, and doing so earns you Gold Points for My Nintendo. So you’ll do well either way. There’s a lot of games offered from multiple genres, but here are some of the ones that stood out to me – Ocarina of Time 3D, Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD, Virtue’s Last Reward, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, Dead Cells, Undertale, Celeste, Persona Q, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Gold Edition, Okami HD, Bastion, Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers, The Messenger, BOXBOY!, BOXBOXBOY!, Hyper Light Drifter, SteamWorld Heist, Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, Disgaea 5 Complete and much more.
