Assassin's Creed

People were wondering if the rest of the Assassin’s Creed franchise would be getting remasters beyond the Ezio Trilogy. With Assassin’s Creed III Remastered coming out next year, we have confirmation; though it’s unknown if the original will ever get its own, this remaster is set for 2019 alongside the release of the new Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on PS4, Xbox One and PC. In fact, those who buy the Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will get the remaster as an additional bonus with all of the game’s DLC included. To sweeten the deal, Assassin’s Creed III Liberation is also included. Fans will be able to purchase all 3 titles separately however, and the contents will not change.

It is interesting that unlike the Ezio Trilogy, Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag isn’t being remastered and bundled with III and being called ‘The Kenway Saga’, a term commonly used between both games as they star members of the Kenway family. Perhaps this is to get people to buy the Season Pass on Ubisoft’s part.
