Hitman

The episodic entry in the Hitman series, simply titled Hitman, has recently concluded ‘The Complete First Season’ of the game. IO Interactive has recently decided that in light of this, the way you purchase the game will be changed. There were choices of buying each episode individually before as each episode was coming out, but now that is not the case. Players will soon only be able to buy ‘The Complete First Season’. However, players who bought ‘The Intro Pack’ and ‘The Upgrade Pack’ will still be able to buy the rest of the episodes individually, and not have to pay an additional fee for the episodes they already bought. Those two packs will be taken off as well. IO Interactive’s main web site has posted a list of changes that will be done on the store front, listed below.

Steam: After the changes, Intro Pack owners will be able to purchase ‘The Complete First Season’ and only pay for the episodes that they do not already own. Essentially, Steam will detect which episodes you have already purchased and only charge you for the ones you do not own. Individual episodes will no longer be available for purchase.

Xbox One: After the changes, Intro Pack owners will be able to purchase ‘The Complete First Season’ at a reduced price. Essentially, the price of the ‘Intro Pack’ will be taken off the price of ‘The Complete First Season’ and you will pay the difference. Individual episodes will remain available for purchase.

PS4: After the changes, Intro Pack owners will be able to purchase ‘The Complete First Season’ at the standard price. Individual episodes will remain available for purchase.

These changes are expected to happen within the next two weeks. Physical copies of the game exist as well, and can be purchased from any store; these copies are ‘The Complete First Season’ and include all episodes.
