Blaster Master Zero developer Inti Creates plans to announce two additional projects for the Nintendo Switch at the forthcoming BitSummit. This comes directly from the company CEO Takuya Aizu, speaking at Tokyo Sandbox 2017. BitSummit 2017 takes place in Kyoto on May 20th to the 21st, celebrating Japan’s burgeoning indie games scene.
In related news, it was revealed that Blaster Master Zero has sold over 80,000 copies to date, with the bulk of sales coming from the Switch. The studio also revealed that 35 staff members produced the NES-tribute platformer over a six month period.

First established in 1996, Inti Creates has had their hands full in the last several years developing or collaborating on retro revivals. Beyond Blaster Master, they have produced Azure Striker Gunvolt, Mega Man 9 and 10, Mighty No. 9, and the upcoming Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
