Good Smile Company is distributing a brand new figure for Kantai Collection, this time featuring the incredibly popular Shimakaze! Fans of the web browser game know her well for her unique design and great stats. Her design was so popular, she was voted as the hottest girl from Kantai Collection by Pixiv users in 2015.
Shimakaze is a rare destroyer featured in the web browser game, Kantai Collection. She is voiced by Sakura Ayane and designed by Shizuma Yoshinori. She is known to have some of the best stats for destroyers in the game.
This new figure for the prototype destroyer comes courtesy of Phat! She is sculpted by Patton and painted by Sakura. The figure is 1/7 scale and will stand approximately 22 cm tall. Good Smile Company describes the figure as follows:
From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a 1/7th scale figure of the first Shimakaze-class ship, Shimakaze! She has been posed taking a little breather while sitting on top of a large Rensouhou-chan together with two more Rensouhou-chans around her creating a complete scene for fans to enjoy in their collection!
Each of the Rensouhou-chan figures have been sculpted with unique poses and expressions to really bring the figure to life. Shimakaze herself is in a rather relaxed pose as she sits upon Rensouhou-chan with a cute look on her face! Be sure to add her in your collection!

The Shimakaze figure will cost approximately ¥13,800 (before tax, about $120.50). She is set to release in August 2017.
