At the PlayStation Press Conference at TGS 2016, Sony showed off a new Japanese trailer for the upcoming New Danganronpa V3, the new game in the Danganronpa series coming to PS4 and PS Vita. The trailer showed off some new gameplay, with the new HD backgrounds and the redone HUD. One particularly interesting reveal was the new protagonist, a girl named Kaede Akamatsu this time around. However, the biggest news was the release window, with the game set for release in Japan in January 2017.

No news has come out about a western release yet, but given that both mainline Danganronpa games as well as the spin-off Ultra Despair Girls have released here it’s extremely likely that New Danganronpa V3 will as well.
