A new trailer for Monster Hunter Stories has dropped, showing off two different games collaborating. Capcom is working with Nintendo to bring players a dash of The Legend of Zelda in the RPG-spinoff of the Monster Hunter series.
Link may not join the protagonist, as he wasn’t in the trailer, Epona on the other hand will. Epona will play the role of the monster in the party, capable of fighting off monsters, including a dragon, as seen in the trailer below. The protagonist can equip the sword and shield of Link as well. Their monster companion can also wear the Skull Kid mask too.
Monster Hunter Stories is set to release on October 8th, 2016 for Japan. There is currently no word on a North American release date.
