My Wife is the Student Council President from Media Blasters

Media Blasters recently talked about some new releases they’re planning. They will be releasing My Wife is the Student Council President on DVD and Blu-Ray this year. An English dub will be included in the release. Yosuga no Sora: In Solitude Where We Are Least Alone which previously was released on DVD, will be coming to Blu-Ray now.

Media Blasters noted that they will release the series Juden Chan which they previously announced. It is now listed as Juden-Chan: Recharged. There was also talk about Yami to Boshi to Hon no Tabibito. The series was released on DVD a few months ago, but contained censored aspects from the version broadcast on TV. A new release will be coming to Blu-Ray which will not have the censorship of the DVD. Those who purchased the DVD can upgrade to the Blu-Ray when it is released. There is no date for it though at this time.

About Walter P

Plays too much, but still has too many games to finish. Will play any type of game and will watch anything, so is of course not good at being productive. Loves anything crazy.

Media Blasters needs to quit with the DVD only crap.

  • They should focus more on their Hentai front, they could have a monopoly in that section if they tried.

Has anyone sold new English hentai anime in … ever? I’m pretty sure the English hentai anime industry is dead.

I’m not even sure if there is enough demand for official English h-anime releases to be profitable especially since fansubbing is around.

    • As far as I’m aware Media Blasters H-line is still up and running, I believe its their “Kitty” subsidiary. But yeah, I haven’t heard of any major localization announcements. It probably has to do with a less than ideal demand, but also the fact that most Adult retailers won’t stock anything but the cheap stuff, which in turn means no sales.
