Square Enix recently uploaded more gameplay footage for Nier: Automata, this time showcasing one of the game’s early boss battles. From the footage, they seemingly took inspiration from Metal Gear Rising and improving on that base as well as applying some of the more unique aspects of the previous Nier‘s mechanics into consideration. Not only that, along with the good ol’ Bullet Hell sequences when the boss enters its next phase. The game is looking gorgeous and is able continue running at silky smooth 60 fps even with such high level graphical fidelity, and that’s not saying a word about that amazing synchronized musical track that plays. You can watch the trailer below.
Nier: Automata is a PlayStation 4 exclusive title and will be released early 2017.
