An anime adaption of the Key visual novel Rewrite will be airing on July 2. The premiere will be an hour long episode. It was noted that there will be a showing of the first episode during an event in Tokyo on June 25. This event will be live streamed on Niconico.
The voice actors from the visual novel will reprise their roles for the anime and include, Kana Hanazawa, Eri Kitamura, Masakazu Morita, Chiwa Saito, Saya Shinomiya, Keiko Suzuki, and Risa Asaki. It was mentioned that the anime will follow a route that was not told in the game, and will follow “that girl”. A re-release of the of the visual novel, Rewrite+ will be released in Japan next month to go along with the anime adaption, and will also be coming west.
Rewrite will being making its hour long premiere on July 2.
