It still shocks me that in my fervor of Kickstarter backing, I somehow missed out on Hyper Light Drifter. This retro looking 2D action RPG full of beautiful pixelated action is a truly nice looking game, with ferocious action and hordes of enemies to slay. Better yet, you have numerous tactics and weapons at your disposal to do your dirty work. Best of all, though, is the information that Hyper Light Drifter fans don’t have much longer to wait, at least for the Steam version of the game. Yes, the Steam version officially launches the end of this month, March 31st! Alas we don’t know the exact price yet, or whether or not this will be the full version or just the early access build, but either way I’m excited to finally support this game by buying my own copy of the game. You can do so too in a little over a week.
